The resident PGA Professional is able to offer golf coaching to groups of business people at Katameya. Whether your group is visiting Katameya for a business meeting or is simply looking for an activity for your employees or clients we are able to tailor a golf-coaching event to suit to your needs.
Golf is a sport that goes hand in hand with business and most company’s find that a vast number of their employees and clients play the game. Group golf coaching provides an excellent forum for both social and team building exercises. With our resident PGA Professional available we are able to cater for variable group’s sizes and a variety of formats: Swing clinics – where the Professional is available on the driving range to answer questions and offer advice while the group practices. Skill Lessons – where the Professional will address one particular area of the game at a time (driving, iron play, pitching, bunker play, chipping and putting) and deliver a coaching session on the techniques required.
This is an excellent format that works very well with smaller groups/teams that each have their own Professional and can then be coached on each subject in turn. Skill lessons are also well suited to mixed ability groups as the smaller teams can be chosen on ability level.
Team building lessons – this works superbly well with mixed ability groups as the more experienced players can act as assistant coaches to the PGA Professional to help the novice golfers in the group learn. Skills Challenges – a popular addition to all of the above formats is for the PGA Professional to run a golf skills challenge event, allowing your group to enjoy some healthy fun competition during their time at Katameya. A skills challenge is particularly good for a team building exercise or for groups that don’t have time to play a round on the course but want some form of a competition during their day here.
