Stoney Aggregate in Penalty Areas

As golfers will be aware, Katameya Heights Stoney aggregate areas, under the new rules regarding penalty zones (old rule they were called hazards), are considered penalty zones. In accordance with the January 2019 changes, some of the stones inside those penalty areas are now loose impediments and some are solidly embedded.
However, in order to avoid the club implementing a local rule preventing the removal of such loose impediments from these areas specifically, players are required to return, as best they can, the stones that they have removed and too leave that area from where they played, in the same condition in which it was found.
The situation regarding this ruling and the impact on these areas will be monitored closely and reviewed.
