18 Hole Championship Course & New Nine Course Scorecards
U.S.G.A. and Royal Ancient Rules of Golf govern all play except when modified by local rules.
Championship Course Local Rules
Out of Bounds: (Rule 18)
This is defined by boundary stone walls, perimeter iron fencing, white stakes, white painted kerbing, or white tiles.
Out of Bounds is applicable on Holes 2,3,7,9 when playing the preceding hole and over the back of 9# green and the Club house and surrounding areas.
Penalty Areas: (Rule 17)
All lakes, which are defined by yellow or red stakes along the edge of the grass. (Drop area provided for hole 15 only).
All Stony aggregate areas which are defined by double stone lines or red stakes/dots.
Ground under Repair: (Rule 16)
All turf and plant nurseries, any areas marked by blue stakes or any roped off areas using yellow rope.
Immovable obstructions: (Rule 16)
All cart paths, yardage markers and 150-yard indicators (cycas trees), sprinkler heads, black water sprinkler hoses, washroom buildings and beverage huts. The pump station and surrounding area defined by blue stakes between hole #5 and #14 is also considered an immovable obstruction and relief must be taken using the drop area provided on hole 5 or hole 14 as you play.
Stones in bunkers are to be treated as movable obstructions (Rule 15.2)
Sandy waste areas are an integral part of the golf course.
New Nine Course Local Rules
Out of Bounds: (Rule 18)

General Etiquette & Liabilty:
Please avoid slow play at all times and allow faster groups to play through. Speed of play will be monitored at all times.- Maximum of 2 hours for 9 holes and 4 hours for 18 holes is acceptable.
Carts must stay on cart paths where provided, and be parked on the paths especially around the tees and greens.
Carts must not be taken into sandy waste areas.
Liability - All members & guests are fully liable for any damage to Katameya Heights Assets.
Please repair all ball marks on the greens and repair divots using the sand bottles provided.
Please rake all bunkers after playing your bunker shot.
All golfers must abide by the Marshals instructions.
Players must adhere to the dress regulations below:
THE FOLLOWING ATTIRE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE: DENIM JEANS, SWIMMING/JOGGING SHORTS, FLIP-FLOP/SANDLE SHOES, COLLERLESS T-SHIRTS/VESTS, TRAINING/TRACKSUIT PANTS, FOOTBALL/RUGBY SHIRTS.
THE FOLLOWING ATTIRE IS ACCEPTABLE: GOLF SLACKS, GOLF TAILORED SHORTS, COLLERERD/TURTLE NECK T-SHIRTS, ROLL NECK SHIRTS, GOLF SHOES/TRAINING SHOES. SOFT SPIKES ARE MANDATORY.
